For only $50, you can receive a 30 minute consultation with the right lawyer for your legal problem. During your consultation, you can discuss the lawyer’s fees for further handling your legal matter. (Note: There is no charge for our service for Personal Injury cases.)

For more than 50 years, the Sacramento Lawyer Referral Service has been helping thousands of people find the right lawyer for their legal problems in the Sacramento area.. The Lawyer Referral Service is the only nonprofit lawyer referral service sponsored by the Sacramento County Bar Association.

How does LRS work?

You can request a referral either by telephone or email. When you contact us, you will speak with an LRS staff member who can help you determine what type of legal problem you have and what type of attorney can best help you. Your information will be held in the strictest confidence. LRS staffers are not lawyers and cannot give legal advice. They can tell you, however, whether your situation is one that is best handled by a lawyer or if some other type of help may be better for you. If a lawyer’s help is advisable, you will be given the name and telephone number of a licensed and insured LRS member attorney who can help you.

Our LRS staff are available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday and Friday, 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Wednesday. The offices are closed Tuesday and Thursday.
